Theatre
The Greenhouse Ensemble’s roots have always grown from theatre. This tremendous artform is capable of presenting one masterpiece upon another masterpiece, upon another masterpiece. Theatre’s collaborative nature is emblematic of The Greenhouse Ensemble. Our company’s core philosophy stems from theatre ethics- a deep respect for each artist’s role. By creating theatre in this way, we strive to produce or present work which will improve people’s lives.

10 Minute Play Soiree
The 10 minute play soiree is Greenhouse tradition. We ask for submissions from around the world and after reading through them all (hundreds), we choose our favorite 7-8 plays, and assign each to a director. Those directors work together for two months in our director roundtable, sharing resources and producing one cohesive production. It is a staple of Greenhouse and one of our favorite annual productions.
