Art And Music
The very first show that Greenhouse ever created was our art party. The unification of all disciplines is vital to not only supporting our community of artists, but also our audiences as well. Very often, audiences will arrive to our events not just to experience a play, but to welcomed by an inspired atmosphere radiating from artwork hanging on our walls and life music filling our space. These two artforms help us to create a sense of place and welcome audiences into a world of insight and emotional understanding.
Sanity is Coming to Town
Jeff Tocci’s works, featuring sculptures by Robert Cenedella (Art Bastard on Netflix), provide sharp anthropomorphic satire. Sanity is Coming to Town looked at both the absurdity and warmth of Christmas, while providing insight into the crevices of everyday life through Tocci’s large color soaked oil paintings and small monochromatic etchings.
Pop-up Pawn Shop
A clamoring of artisan goods-makers crammed together in an east village evicted bank. This weekend installation filled the room with fine art, artisan holiday gifts, and musicians from the famed jalopy theater.
